Whitby Jet was brought to the attention of the world by Queen Victorian who used Whitby

Jet as part of her mourning attire.

Jet is a type of brown coal a fossilised wood from an ancient tree similar to the monkey puzzle tree

Today Whitby Jet is highly collectable and sought after world wide.

The lovely Angel skin coral cameos are hand carved, beautifully executed with high

relief workmanship all round.

From the depths of the sea, comes the beautiful coral which is produced by tiny life forms.

Same as pearls, coral is a water element of fiery colours in shades of ranging from petal pink

known as angel skin coral to salmon and velvety red.

Original faceted 18ct yellow gold wires too

These are stunning, both facing inwards, always have been earrings, all original and

steeped in history.

Excellent condition all round.
